Our latest R&D project is to develop software agent either in Windows CE or Linux for communication with Leica Robotic Total Station (TCA1800 / TCA1201+). We found out this industrial development PC suitable for our hardware selection;

1. We would like to develop on Linux. Must faster development time. This hardware platform support multiple OS. In any case we can fall back to existing ready made software for this purpose.
2. Low power and required small solar power system and lower cost as site for installation have no electricity.
3. Have multiple serial interface, USB interface and choice of display module.
4. The same board also support Analog to Digital mini board. This is crucial for other non digital sensors.
