We are looking for supplier that can supply this cable to us in short period of time. None of the Leica distributor have ex-stock. After a week sourcing we decide to DIY the cable.
Our problem next is to find the LEMO connector similar to original. Found out it is FGA.0B.305.xxxx where xxxx is the cable collect size.
Check with RS Malaysia, they also don’t have ex-stock. Same also to LEMO Singapore. At the end we order similar type from Alibaba with 2 days delivery MOQ=10pcs. Of course from China. Can’t wait to see the actual product it self.

We excited. After 1 and 1/2 week testing, today me managed to instruct Leica 1800 to make automatic reading on multiple target prisms. Ready for site deployment in Gunung Pas (KM 40 Jalan Simpang Pulai - Cameron Highland).

Our latest R&D project is to develop software agent either in Windows CE or Linux for communication with Leica Robotic Total Station (TCA1800 / TCA1201+). We found out this industrial development PC suitable for our hardware selection;
- We would like to develop on Linux. Must faster development time. This hardware platform support multiple OS. In any case we can fall back to existing ready made software for this purpose.
- Low power and required small solar power system and lower cost as site for installation have no electricity.
- Have multiple serial interface, USB interface and choice of display module.
- The same board also support Analog to Digital mini board. This is crucial for other non digital sensors.
